Residents invited to Majestic site redevelopment planning sessions

HOT SPRINGS – Hot Springs residents are invited to attend site redevelopment planning sessions regarding the former Majestic Hotel site on two dates:  Monday, April 1, from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 2, from 12 noon until 2:30 p.m. The sessions will be held at the Hot Springs Convention Center, rooms 203 and 204. Both sessions will contain the same content and are scheduled at different times of the day for public convenience. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by sending an email to majesticsite@cityhs.net so that staff preparations can be made.

 

The sessions will be hosted by Kansas State University – TAB (Technical Assistance to Brownfields); University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design; and the City of Hot Springs. Residents can also submit their ideas and suggestions by clicking on the Majestic Site Redevelopment portal at the bottom of the city’s homepage at www.cityhs.net .
