HSPD Press Release: Hit and run crash involving a horse drawn carriage

PRESS RELEASE

On December 1st, 2018 at 9:06pm, officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to the area of Central Avenue and Fountain Street in reference to a hit and run crash involving a horse drawn carriage. Upon arrival officers discovered that a red or maroon passenger car had struck the carriage from the rear and fled the scene. Mary Spruell (79) of Bradley, Arkansas was thrown out of the carriage during the crash. Spruell was transported to a local hospital for treatment for her injuries and is in stable condition.
